Supplier quality management
Responsible for supplier metrics.

Responsible for the attention to the production line in reference to the quality of the materials received from the supplier.

Quarantine disposition, NCR and RMA / RTV / Supplier corrective actions.
Knowledge of blueprint reading.
English 80%
GDT / Corrective actions / Material analysis
Professional Career in Engineering, Logistics, Business or a related degree.

Minimum 7 years of related experience in a supplier quality engineering role, project management function, or related supplier quality function.

Ability to lead detailed projects, provide status reports, and track progress with management teams.
In-depth knowledge of APQP and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Ability to work effectively with a variety of people in a team environment.
excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) and Minitab
Ability to work independently
Must-Have Organizational Skills
Leadership, dedication, ability to perform under pressure and an effort to grow professionally.
Detail oriented.

Six Sigma Training and Certification
Mastery of Six Sigma problem solving tools
Experience with continuous improvement project skills


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct supplier quality assessments and provide quality audit reports/recommendations.
Make sure the proper quality requirements (critical/key features) are identified on the drawing.
Ensure supplier involvement in product development through quality design reviews.
Coordinate PPAP level requirements and compliance with the PPAP process.
Set and track PPM goals for each vendor.
Support the Buyer in solving supplier quality problems.
Removal of material from quarantine due to supplier defect
Identify supplier quality issues through line issues, incoming inspection rejects, and/or supplier audit.
Collect samples of defects
Initiate corrective action requests through the CAR process.
Follow up and close CAR in a timely manner.
Propose quality improvement plan for all suppliers and commodities.
Support the resolution of any warranty claim
Daily monitoring of supplier quality production issues.
Maintain good communication with suppliers and internal BRP customers/peers.

Participation with the purchasing department in the work teams to develop, approve and follow up on the critical plans of suppliers and / or transfers.

Provide technical support for assembly, incoming inspection regarding the specified quality of the component or product and its function within the design requirements.

Perform any other task delegated by your manager.
Carry out security related activities.
Comply with all policies, procedures and codes of ethics.

Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
Comply with the security rules determined according to their role.
Comply on time the planned training related to Quality and Training.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
