- Responsible of cross border operation, in collaboration with service provider such as Customs Brokers, Freight Line, 3PL, by coordinating the import / export of merchandise thru customs and providing all documentation, information and any other need to clear customs in full compliance with the applicables laws and according the service KPI established.
- Compliance with Commercial Information NOM's and any other customs regulation , for all imported/exported goods , including but not limited to Artwork and packaging reviewing, providing feedback to vendors and Category Manager; prepare all documentation for verification unit; attend verification unit visit; supervise labels printing and execution at DC level; product testing follow up; import permit applications; make improvement recommendations and develop improvement plan in collaboration with cross functional areas.
- Ejecute all the administratives tasks related with the area such as but not limited to service provider invoice review; develop, maintain, update and develop reports for KPI tracking, improvement opportunities; discrepancies follow up. Review and communicate daily and weekly management reporting, recommend actions and solutions to insure timely merchandise flow.
- Identifies and provides support and guidance to the Category Manager on : regulations, restrictions, duties, taxes, antidumping, and all the necessary requirements to make a new or line product importable.

Position Purpose
International Trade Specialist assures that the prodcut is beeing imported / exported through customs compling with all regulations. Verifies products to Mexican NOM compliance standards and is responsible for creating solutions to meet or exceed those standards.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining a databases for tracking performance and historical data; communicating with replenishment and merchandising AutoZoners to remedy future vendor compliance.
