We are searching for the best talent for TOOL CRIB MANAGER to be in Juarez.

Purpose:


Manages indirect materials warehouse activities which include the ordering of material, the warehouse and inventory control operations, and the distribution.

Ensures material availability, timely distribution, and customer satisfaction. Supervises material handling and distribution staff.


You will be responsible for:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Manages the material management of indirect materials, through subordinates.
  • Develops and implements material management and distribution policies, standards, guidelines,technology, and procedures.
  • Manages the delivery process for indirect materials and facilitates the logistics.
  • Approves all purchase orders within authorized limits.
  • Cooperates with relevant departments to determine the material inventory, inventory levels and delivery times, and establishes alignment with supply chain partners.
  • Manages department budget and expense annually.
  • Ensures timely analysis of changes in the inventory of materials relating to supply, demand, and pricing.
  • Communicates relevant information to appropriate management.
  • Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints.
  • Maintains relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Participates in special projects assigned by the department Senior Manager.
  • Ensures compliance to the purchasing procedures (supplier selection, bid process, etc.), the purchasing system usage and the SOX regulations.
  • Seeks productivity and improvement opportunities for the materials management process.
  • Promotes continuous improvement and its tools in all the processes.
  • Promotes an innovative environment for all services and solutions, among the stakeholders and team members.
  • Develops costbenefit analysis to support management decision making process.
  • Oversees his/her subordinates work schedule, projects, metrics, procedures, responsibilities, performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Provides the resources and training to develop his/her subordinates, promoting a continuous improvement and development environment. Recognizes their good performance and supports their growth as leaders. Acts with low performance employees through development plans, to keep them focused on their development areas and to contribute to their growth.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications:


Qualifications and requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineer, or related field.
  • Master's degree and/or CPIM / CSCP Certification desirable.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the position, or in an inventory management position.


  • Bilingual English Spanish.

  • Analytical skills that allow him/her to assess risks and opportunities.
