WELDING MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (STRUCTURES DIVISION)

PIEDRAS NEGRAS III PLANT
Collaborate in the implementation of systems that ensure the correct and continuous function of the production equipment and facilities.

Meet the needs of our customers in terms of welding, process improvements and maintenance through the flexibility and versatility of our resources.


Your tasks will be:


  • Capture of maintenance data
  • Implement lean manufacturing systems (5's, setup, quick changes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components.
  • Implement work plans with priorities and systems for monitoring progress.
  • Guarantee the order and control of material.
  • Active search for new technologies, in favor of the efficiency of production lines and resources of the company, as well as its implementation in plant.
  • Energy cost saving projects and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure minimum stock of spare parts according to maintenance plans.
  • Ensure the execution of the department's procedures.
  • Detection of areas of opportunity and coordination of the technical training of the personnel in charge.
  • Participation in the quality system and environmental management system according to the scope of the position

To be successful in this role you need:

  • English, intermediate
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience in the automotive industry and in laser welding process
