CUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor' s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SysAdmin for Linux (Red Hat)
  • Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external clients in a clear, focused, and concise manner
  • Solid planning and organization skills to communicate well and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while managing time effectively
  • Take responsibility for meeting challenging deadlines, which will require flexibility in hours from time to time
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing to go for the extra mile to meet the goals

PECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Detailed migration knowledge of Red Hat Linux servers (inplace upgrade) or in a different server (rehosting) from old versions (5.x, 6.x) to supported versions (7.x or 8.x)
  • AIX to Linux migration skills are required
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyze large sets of data in Excel
  • Experience in a Financial Services firm is a plus
