Summarized Purpose:


Assists in the collation of data and preparation of reports on operational performance and/or capacity management to help support business decision making.

Accountable for assigned activities to provide data to support ad hoc business requests.
Provides input and assistance on process optimization initiatives within the team.

Essential Functions and Other Job Information:
Essential Functions

  • Produces monthly/quarterly reports and dashboards.
  • Provides support with ad hoc initiatives relating to capacity management capabilities and performance measures.
  • Assists users with data extrapolation from multiple sources; generates summary data.
  • Assists in the development of tools and approaches to support process improvement.
  • Identifies training needs and assists with development of tools/materials.

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Supervision Received

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Business Relationships

Contacts are primarily internal to the company with infrequent external customer / vendor contact on routine matters. Builds productive internal / external working relationships.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Displays an organized and methodical approach, capable of handling multiple responsibilities and prioritizing tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Good computer skills to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint and knowledge of Spotfire preferable
  • Capable of persuading, influencing and mobilizing cross functional teams
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, precise and concise written and presentation materials
  • Solid investigative and analytical skills
  • Solid decision making skills and ability to recommend solutions in complex situtations
  • Capable of learning new software and systems

No management responsibility

  • Long, varied hours required occasionally
  • Travel and rotating shifts required on rare occasions

  • Standing and walking required daily
  • Lifting / carrying objects of 525 lbs. required daily
  • Crouching / stooping required frequently
  • Lifting / carrying objects of lbs. required occasionally
  • Kneeling, twisting of upper body / neck, and pushing / pulling of items required occasionally
