Job Description:

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Design and develop embedded software that control complex, safetycritical hydraulic and electrical control systems
Contribute to all aspects of the software development process including specification, development, design reviews and testing at all levels, including operating and testing the machines that run your software

Skills:

C and C ++ language experience, including STL data structures
Object Oriented Design
Understand of the mechanics of realtime embedded operating systems
Electrical circuit diagrams
Electrical/electronic components like switches, sensors, control modules
Code reviews, unit testing and TDD
JTAG/ICE debuggers, oscilloscopes and multimeters
Developing and debugging hardware device drivers

Plus Skills

GCC, Git and the agile software development process
Scripting language knowledge (Perl, Python, BASH)
Serial communication protocols, especially J193
Stack Overflow profile
