Your team

The Global Information Technology Centers are focused on being a stronger business partner, aligned to deliver on the technology needs and maintaining global support and shared expertise to advance digital capabilities across the enterprise.

Our IT function is made up of employees with varied backgrounds and knowledge. This diversity of skills and expertise allows us to bring creative and innovative solutions


What you'll be doing

  • Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions.
  • Set team, group or service objectives and ensure they align with the IT vision and the teams' daytoday activities.
  • Determine and manage priorities, timelines and schedules.
  • Interact regularly with customers and vendors to understand their business and to anticipate needed IT solutions.
  • Participate in the budget process and monitor the budget as appropriate. Assist the business with IT capital and operating expense investment requirements.
  • Participate in the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new governance and compliance tools, technologies and/or services.
  • Develop, gather, and measure relevant productivity metrics.
  • Manage or participate on projects as required.
  • Responsible for oversight, improvement and maintenance of Third party Vendor
  • Risk Management program. Including compliance of vendors with IT Security controls and requirements in alignment with Baxter's control framework and minimum guidelines.
  • Responsible for expansion of vendor oversight and collaboration with key stakeholders such as Procurement, IT, and Global Business Units that engage with external third party vendors.
  • Responsible for providing guidance, review and approve of documents required for the due diligence risk assessment and analysis of compliance with Baxter's minimum security standards.
  • Supports Global IT Security Compliance objectives and provides key metrics and reporting on a routine basis that will be leveraged by senior leadership and management to understand risk quantification and third party vendor landscape
  • Must be well versed in industry standard security frameworks such as NIST 80053, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, etc.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience with vendor oversight or supplier management programs, or equivalent work experience with security audit and risk assessment
