Main Responsabilities:


This job fully integrates an individual into the EPDP environment by performing specific PDP Quality assignments that are related to the PLPDP projects for engines and axles.

In addition, this position will manage the correct implementation of Engineering changes, such as:
running changes, revision level upgrades and Supplier Change requests.

This position will work with MJD Engineering, PDP Manufacturing and Program Management to ensure the PDP process is completed prior to deliver product and processes to production stages.

For JD4 components, participation in the PPAP process is required both Divisional and local validations.


What skills you need:


  • Performs Quality audits, including preparation and implementation audits to ensure ECMs implementation is transparent for the assembly process.
  • Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems. Monitors quality plan tracking system.
  • Assists in reviews and investigations of new programs quality issues.
  • Learns and uses quality tools consistently with processes to enable the focus on prevention by identifying and performing activities to reduce risk exposure.
  • Actively participate in DRs and DPARs to make sure component requirements are taking into consideration during development stages
  • Learns and uses quality planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate quality plans for new products within the product delivery, order fulfillment or customer support processes.
  • Gathers and analyses data pertinent to quality tools in the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) and Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
  • Participate during PPAP submission requirements and lead MJD PPAP validations to ensure components meet dimensional requirements

What Makes You Stand Out:


  • Knowledge of basic data analysis techniques. (e.g. pareto charts, histograms, pie and bar charts and control plans.)
  • Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style.
  • Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation, product models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities
  • Knowledge of standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis, Statistics.
  • Knowledge of the content and format of information retrieval technologies and resources, including the ability to critically evaluate, assess, select and use them, and to communicate their value throughout the enterprise.

Education:

Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
