Job title:
Global Fund Services (GFS) Client Operations Associate

Join our mutual fund service team to deliver high-quality services, build relationships, and solve issues.


As a Global Fund Services (GFS) Client Operations Associate, you'll be a crucial team member ensuring successful service delivery of all mutual fund product offerings.

Collaborate with stakeholders, resolve issues, and communicate updates to senior management.

The Global Fund Services Client Operations Associate is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery across mutual fund product offerings.

The role involves daily contact with clients, query management and resolution, and coordinating client requested changes to operating models and reporting.

This position requires a strong sense of ownership and understanding of Investment Company Act of 1940 deliverables, as well as a working knowledge of fund accounting processes.


Job responsibilities:

  • Daily client contact with outside administrators/advisors.
  • Actively participate in client meetings.
  • Manage queries and resolve issues.
  • Manage issue escalation and remediation.
  • Coordinate client requested changes to operating models and reporting.
  • Ensure successful delivery of client reporting.
  • Assist with accounting queries related to the financial reporting/audit process.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 35 years of experience in mutual fund operations, preferably in clientfacing roles.
  • Strong technical skills including mutual fund accounting and GAAP.
  • Ability to work in a global operating environment and a matrix management organization.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working across multiple business areas/functions to deliver results.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Cash management and Treasury Services experience.
  • Client contact experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
