Overview:
The Product Owner is responsible for providing analytical support for the product and business areas assigned (Originations program).

Functions as daily product support for review, gather Market requirements, and recommend technical approach and solutions to the Product Manager.

Performs analysis, design, project estimation and systems administration.

The Product Owner directs and coordinates the product development and serves as a collaborative liaison between the Product Management and Product Delivery teams by defining, prioritizing and evaluating work.

This individual will maintain the product/team backlog, leading backlog prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touch points to ensure the best business results.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan, organize and direct the implementation and/or development of products in accordance with strategic business plans or related projects.
  • Interface with customers and business stakeholders to provide issue resolution for products and processes.
  • Provide business rules interpretation for functional and technical specifications, system designs and documentation for business solutions.
  • Establish shared understanding of current practices and customer's experience before moving to problem solving.
  • Work collaboratively with the Program/Product Managers to advise on the creation and partner to communicate product road map initiatives to the teams that result in great experiences for our customers.
  • Work with the Agile or Hybrid teams to craft high quality customercentric user stories that exceed customer expectations.
  • Responsible for leading the prioritization of the product backlog in partnership with product management.
  • Communicate with management and business partners on business systems and project status.
  • Work closely with internal business units to facilitate project completion.
  • Provide Quality Assurance Testing for production implementation.
  • Drive product assessments and requirements based on product performance metrics
  • Perform other duties or special project as assigned/required
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Thorough working knowledge of information systems and operations
  • Functional knowledge of the business area or areas assigned to them (Originations program)
  • Full technical knowledge of system analysis techniques
  • Advance English Level
  • Agile Methodology preferred

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to interpret business rules and customer requirements for the purpose of creating system and process documentation, program specifications, and project specifications.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile/SAFe Lean enterprise concepts and best practices and how they are applied in the workplace
  • Thorough understanding of Vision/Roadmap creation, Portfolio/Program/Team Backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization
  • Ability to effectively define Product roadmaps, identify and proper documentation of requirements
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and followup skills with the ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Capable of relating business issues to the ITS staff in an effort to achieve the necessary resolution of issues.
  • Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Exceptional behavioral datacollection and analysis skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights based on product performance metrics, benchmarking or applicable data sources
  • Strong technical and analytical mind and background
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate to individuals and groups effortlessly
  • Strong time management skills
