We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team helping to ensure that your shift works in a safe, customer-oriented manner, with the best quality and efficiency

Job Content
In this position, you will be providing support to Production Manager

Give immediate attention to the validation of the machines that will have reference change, verifying the technical parameters in the machine and physical parameters in the fabric, to authorize the start up of the looms and thus produce fabric with quality and efficiency, according to the SWP of material change using the start up check list
Generate SAP reports: general OTFQ, OTFQ by weaver, WIP, material changes.
Lead the DPM on a daily basis, communicate quality and efficiency indicators (BMS reports) to his staff in charge
Follow up on quality complaints/ 8D's, problem solving in a timely manner
Implement and follow up the QMS
Follow up on pending from previous shift and deliver, report relevant events occurred during their shift
Maintaining 6's in the area, recording their ideas on the postit board and performing audits
Ensure that their personnel in charge have their personal protective equipment and tools in good condition according to the established policy. Ensure that they do not perform unsafe acts and report any risk of accidents at work

Profile

Bachelor's degree (Textile, industrial, chemical or related engineer)
Personnel management
Experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean manufacturing)

Problem solving tools:
Fishbone, A3, 5 Whys, 8D; Kaizen, Kanban, Andon

Experience in Quality systems: ISO 900
Availability to rotate shifts
Microsoft office skills
Conversational English
