We are KiWi, a Swiss-Mexican startup whose mission is to make financial & technology services accessible to every small business (merchants) in emerging markets.

Our app & platform allow thousands of small merchants to accept cards, get micro-loans, manage their sales, please their customers, and sell new services in a breeze.

About the job:


Your mission:


  • Own the entire deal process: identify potential Alliances, develop win themes, and produce complete proposals.
  • Find the key stakeholder of our target New Alliance companies by doing thorough stakeholder mapping and research
  • Execute personalised outreach and book highvalue pitch meetings with prospective New Alliances partners
  • Lead prospect meetings and work towards converting them to a New Alliance
  • Attend New Alliance meetings led by team members and support in closing the deal
  • Grow both the reach of KiWi and our allies through proactively introducing and executing initiatives that will take KiWi to more merchants efficiently and effectively
  • Nurture current B2B2C Alliances to lead to joint growth
  • Maintain the database using your organisational skills to streamline processes and clean up the data
  • Identify potential networking opportunities in the Mexican market
  • Improve and collaborate on the existing sales funnel ensuring that growth objectives are met
  • Contribute to developing new channels that complement the company's growth
  • Report to the CMO and Chief of Staff

Qualifications:


Your profile:


  • Minimum experience of 3+ years in a business development, growth or sales position in a tech/SaaS company
  • Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in economicadministrative area.
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent understanding of the sales funnel and indirect sales channels
  • Focus on results and business growth, with acquisition and retention objectives
  • Ability and willingness to work in a startup. Understand that KiWi is not a corporation, here we are all interns and CEOs at the same time.
  • Native in Spanish, proficiency in English (written/verbal)
  • A flexible, goal oriented, wellorganised and selfstarted personality with a strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about your job and a fastpaced, international working environment
  • Willingness to work in startup, have a strong impact and truly make a difference
  • Previous experiences in fintech and internationalscoped product are a plus
