The Product Perf Mngmt Sr Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.

Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family.

Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Partners with more senior team members to deliver across product disciplines, assist in the ownership of the product(s) and monitoring drivers for performance and works on the ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution
  • Applies disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function
  • Integrates industry knowledge and research within a defined area and requires indepth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business
  • Evaluates variable issues that impact team performance
  • Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources
  • Assists in the implementation of performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on crosssell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions
  • Assists sales and relationship managers in building skills needed to identify client needs, and proposes solutions in line with business objectives
  • Participates in ongoing performance and maintenance of a product or set of products, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution
  • Prepares materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes
  • Provides information for management by preparing shortterm and longterm product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
  • Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules at branches based on strategy execution.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing timeintegrated plans with sales, advertising, production and branches.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling
  • Maintains product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training associated areas as segments, operations, among others.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
  • Problem solving and decision making based on data for product management processes and initiatives.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Regulatory processes knowledge will be a plus.
