We are looking for a proactive and creative functional junior consultant to join us. She/he will be a contributor in supporting our projects with financial institutions across MX and US.


Functional Junior Consultant

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Accounting or Finance.
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting or in the financial industry
  • Experience working with databases and/or knowledge in programming languages (SQL, Python, R).
- **Experience working in banking or consulting services with banking clients

- is required.**:


  • Motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Intermediate level of English B2.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or finance.
  • Proven experience with, or understanding of statistical software packages such as SAS, data mining and relational databases, and database queries (Oracle and/or SQL).
  • Reporting knowledge using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience managing internal and client teams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the improvement of data governance and data quality processes.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and update of databases.
  • Coordinate the workstream of the different areas and profiles involved in the project.
  • Review, compile and consolidate the data provided by the different areas.
  • Communicate with the data managers in case any issue arises.
  • Manage the plan with the timelines and deadlines for the project's most relevant tasks.
  • Interpret data to develop improvements in order to optimize results
