Job Description:

To support the execution of purchasing strategies of Indirect Materials & Service; developing and maintaining the supply base considering six pillars: a) Cost effective, b) Fulfillment - delivery on time, c) Quality, d) Engineering support, e) Innovation, d) Risk management.

Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are intended only as examples of the various types of work that may be performed.

Support of execution of purchasing strategies.
Reports analysis of the portfolio given.
Constantly monitor supplier fulfillment and delivery on time for the portfolio given.
PPVs monthly reviews with finance identifying the root cause and execute actions to mitigate negative impact and set steps for positive impact.
Analyze breakdown cost and identify cost drivers to communicate Sr. Sourcing Leader for actions to improve cost.
Reports results of established KPIs to Sr. Sourcing Leader.
Team player who owns the responsibility of constant communication with internal customer, like production, in order to bring supplier (like MRO) on time according to business needs.
Support to drive supplier consolidation and supplier localization under the fundamental concept: Built in the region what is sold in the region.
Leads cross-functional teams and/or similar for the accomplishment of related goals.
Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish.
Conducts herself / himself following UEI's rules of ethic and compliance.
Support to perform Quarterly Business Reviews together with Sr. Sourcing Leader, Strategic Buyer and with key suppliers, establishing effective communication among her/his supply base.
Support of execution actions to mitigate risk at supply based according to Risk Management Strategies.
Support to execute P.O.s according to manufacturing/business demand and according to requisitions made.
Review Past Due Invoice reports in order to highlight potential issues before have a credit on hold from supply base.
Support Sr. Sourcing Leader to make a supplier performance review based on a Rapid Plant Assessment tool.

Responsibilities for Integral management system

To actively participate on Integral management system audits.

Formal Education & Certification

Collage Degree

Knowledge & Experience

At least 1year of experience in purchasing areas (Indirect materials).
Recent graduated.
P.O. execution is a plus.
Preferred ERP Oracle knowledge, however other ERPs are acceptable.
