Title:

GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT

Primary Location:
Mexico (MX) - Coahuila Motores JD-Torreon

Function:
Accounting / Finance

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual Accounting/Financial reports & Government/Statistical information.
Examines accounting information contained in reports and exhibits, traces and reconciles unusual variances.
Performs reconciliations, journal vouchers entries & assign accounts to purchase order.

Budget Management Administration

Overhead/Expense accounts.
Provide accounting guidance to other within the department or outside of the work area.
Identify and implement process improvements.

What Skills You Need:

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent.
Understanding of the integrated system of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, key metrics, Exhibits, etc.
Knowledge of accounting system.
Higher level of accountability and attention to details.

Language proficiency.

Fluent proficient in spoken and written English.

What Makes You Stand Out:

Has a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Experience with unit general ledger activities and/or financial reporting.
SOX/Internal Control experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas and financial modeling.
