Responsibilities:
- Administer the sales compensation plans at all levels WW, frontline to executive, meeting Worldwide company strategic initiatives.
- Design, develop, implement, and manage F5 sales compensation models and incentive plans at all levels (frontline to Executive level) to meet strategic objectives of Senior Sales Leaders
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance to legal requirements around sales compensation and other sales operations related areas
- Build, document, and execute on sales measures that support company strategy
- Develop solutions to complex crediting situations that result from evolving business models. Present recommendations supported by data and facts.
- In partnership with local Sales Operations team, support the annual quota setting process.
- Analyze key performance metrics to provide insight into sales compensation trends.
- Liaise with Finance and Sales Operations on budget planning and sales compensation accruals.
- Assist the Manager, WW Sales Performance Management in building and delivering a worldclass sales resource allocation program and drive special projects as needed.
- Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Experience with Sales Compensation software as Omega, Varicent, Callidus, others
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel, SQL Server, and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Tableau and IBM Cognos ICM experience a plus
- You work effectively with all levels including Executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent quantitative skills
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and work with a high degree of independence
- Capable of working under time constraints and running multiple projects
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change, remain flexible and shift priorities in a fastpaced globally complex, customer focused environment.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within sales operations or comparative field, and/or financial analysis experience supporting a sales organization
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
- Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
- Job may be performed in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Quarter end flexibility required to allow for occasional extra hours.
- Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time spent traveling.
