Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment and selection of indirect and direct personnel.
  • Administer and assist with the creation and implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
  • Track and lead actions to reduce turnover and absenteeism
  • Oversee administration of transportation, cafeteria, nursing and training activities.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to positively contribute to company culture and employee relations. Assist managers with any personnel issues, including performance and disciplinary.
  • Provide communication and support to employees regarding company benefit plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Requirements:


  • 8+ years of HR related experience in a plant environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in. Proficient in English language both spoken and written.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Knowledge of labor, employment laws and HR practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
