Responsibilities:
_

Perform RFQ process as required by Project/Product Management teams on Current Products.
Lead Supplier Sourcing Decision process in coordination with Sourcing Committee ensuring sourcing is based on TCO which should include Unit price, Cash Flow Cost, Transportation Cost, including Fuel Surcharges, Handling Costs, Expediting Costs, Inventory Carrying Costs, Inventory Obsolescence Risks, Duties and Taxes, Product rework and damage costs, Customer service Penalties
Ensure effective contract setup and management follow up activities are in place (e.g. Supplier Agreements, AS400 Contracts, purchasing info records, Item Master data)
Implement the category's strategies, utilizing Strategic Sourcing Process' tools, templates and SSC policies
Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis, and develop TCO understanding, as well as the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the category, and identify improvements to be targeted
Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best TCO contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers (approved by Purchasing Manager)
Ensure Compliance to Strattec's Corporate Business Principles, policies, standards and Procurement Policy, Procurement Standardized Model, Strattec's Supplier Code and Best Practices.
Elaborate sourcing strategy for its families, in line with BU Strategies and create partnerships with suppliers representing quality products, negotiate with them for the group BU, or many plants, in order to get the best total cost solution in line with the target of the organization;
Elaborate the adequate sourcing strategies (3 to 5 year vision) related to the commodities he is responsible for and ensuring their implementation;
Participate in finding, selecting and approving preferred suppliers in accordance with predetermined criteria, manage suppliers panel (in coordination with the Advanced Purchasing Buyer, Supplier Quality Engineering, Expeditors)
Identify global and alternatives strategic procurement sources in order to reduce supply costs;
Actively participate in the Identification process of the preferred supplier list by commodity;
Ensure compliance with negotiated agreements and volumes;
Participate on supplier's quality audit and supplier's capacity analysis per critical/strategic supplier;
Negotiate contracts with global/strategic/key suppliers to cover needs of all relevant businesses/units;
Support the plant in the resolution of strategic commercial related issues with suppliers;
Ensure that contractual compliance are respected by suppliers and plant;
Ensure smooth relations with businesses/units during implementation phase of contracts;
Assist BU specific/important tactical related problems;
Develop and own business continuity plans covering supplier's short or long term service disruption; and
Measure and report contract and supplier commercial performance to SQA Score Card Definition

Qualifications:_

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
Demonstrated experience in implementation of sourcing strategies for different spend categories over a sustained period (45 years)
Demonstrated experience in one or more spend categories as Sourcing Specialist (Resin, Plastics Molding Injection, Metal Stamping, Die Casting, PCBA), using the Strategic Sourcing Process and has experience in negotiation
Demonstrated successful use of risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management
Experience in manufacturing and industrialization phases and costs (labor, overheads, assets, equipment.)
Bilingual
Fluent written and spoken English (>85%)
Experience with ERP (AS400 considered an asset);
Available to travel internationally (approximately 1015% of the time)
Vision, strategic, creative, rigor, problem solving oriented;
Computer literally (Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project)
