Descripción
Manages department objectives and budget, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve them. Elaborates Capital Projects for new machinery and building requirements.- Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
- Develops and manages a preventive and predictive maintenance plan driving reliability initiative focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
- Schedules repair, maintenance and installation of machines tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
- Analyzes current productions processes and new product plans in order to determine equipment needs and/or modifications.
- Requests the purchasing of machinery equipment and tools, supervising the delivery on schedule of these purchases.
- Responsible for machinery transfers and installations.
- Responsible for Facilities Tool Room & Tool Crib Areas.
- Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
- Inspects construction and installation progress.
- Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment.
- Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility.
- Develops and administers the annual budget. Improvement activities are a key element of this position through Kaizen and Problem Solving.
- It is expected to develop and implement new work methods in the area using creativity and judgment.
- Maintains communication with all the areas with the purpose to keep everyone focus on the same objectives.
- Reviews Metrics with personnel discussing various possible alternatives, providing resources and a suitable environment.
- Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, developing and acting as a facilitator to the subordinates.
- Appraises the performance of subordinates and recommends the appropriate development plans.
- Elaborates Monthly Production reports POS, KPIs & EXECUTIVE Reports.
- Lead all certification, audit events perform in the department as head of maintenance.
- Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets and programs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management system.
- Ensure adherence to sustainability global initiatives (BMS, EMS)
