Responsibilities:


What will you be doing?


PepsiCo's Complete Accurate Specifications and Traceability (CAST) program is a multi-year initiative to elevate PepsiCo R&D's capability to capture and digitize our product specifications.

CAST focuses on the priority minimum requirements enabling PepsiCo to stay compliant globally in an ever more demanding and complex environment.

The vision of the program is to maintain an Global R&D Template for international sectors that do not have a system today.


For Europe, AMESA, and APAC, PepsiCo has built and is deploying a new SAP S/4 Hana Recipe Development solution that will close our system capability gaps for digitized specification management.

The CAST DevSecOps Sr.

Manager will lead the IT Delivery for the Global R&D Template is primarily responsible for the end to end delivery of R&D Global S/4 platform and solution leveraging PepsiCo project management lifecycle methodologies (agile) and best practices.

The Sr. Manager will lead a team of employees and solution integrator resources to deliver the Global platform.

Project delivery manager will work closely with business partners, enterprise architects, solution integrators and partner with Enterprise Solution SAP teams and leaders to ensure that CAST leverages best practices and standards.

The role will also work to manage and direct our DevSecOps teams in sustaining the solution while driving continuous improvements and regulatory updates.

The CAST Delivery Sr.

Manager will lead the delivery team in close partnership with Global R&D business leaders to maintain global R&D processes as part of the CAST R&D Global Template.

The program will leverage a "Why Not Standard" approach to integrating SAP software into PepsiCo to minimize customization and reduce long term cost of ownership as the SAP S/4 Hana Recipe Development is deployed across PepsiCO markets/Bus.

The CAST solution will continue to be expanded to new markets/categories such as Pioneer foods, and to replace existing legacy solutions as part of the IT and R&D long-term roadmap.


Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

  • The Sr. Manager for IT Delivery for Global CAST R&D is primarily responsible for the end to end deliver of CAST funded projects leveraging Project management lifecycle methodology and best practices
  • Manages employees and contractors supporting the Global CAST R&D
  • Communicate Status of the Delivery projects and ensure timely escalation of risks and issues.
  • Support the IT Lead with project pursuit estimation for business case development
  • Support the IT Lead in the delivery of proof of concept solutions
  • Support the IT Lead and EA organization in solution portfolio rationalization, solution roadmaps and assessments of enterprise solution options
  • Support global procurement on RFP execution for software and services required for solution delivery
  • Own service management for Integration partners and solution consultants staffed for project delivery
  • Helps to develop and ensures adherence to the internal IT operating model, including technology standards, project life cycle methodology, release management, global template management, change management, and other related processes and procedures, SLAs and controls compliance
  • Own the full hiring, onboarding, performance management and career and talent development for all PepsiCo direct reports
  • Drive organization health and development for the CAST DEV/SEC/OPS team
  • Provides input to yearly objectives, conducts annual performance processes including setting objectives, measuring performance and conducting performance reviews
  • Submit period forecasts, own project budget ($57MM) and completes Annual Operating Plan and partner with IT Lead to complete PepsiCo Strategic Plan (35 yrs) deliverables to include project abstracts and financial models
  • Stays uptodate with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, selfstudy, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means
