Responsibilities:


The Opportunity:

The Grains Coordinator is responsible for designing, executing and implementing procurement strategy and leverage Global negotiations (Aprox. 224 MM USD), leading productivity projects in collaboration with R&D/innovation/MKT/OPS teams that account minimum of 2% of total spend and guaranteeing supply. Lead implementation of strategies/projects, as well as collaboration with the Supply Chain team for supply issues (BCP).


Deliver cost forecasting and productivity to Finance in a monthly basis that impacts P&L in Direct Cost and build AOP Commoditiy prices.


This role is also accountable for ensure P2P compliance including sourcing allocation, legal contract develpoment agenda on negotiated costs, processes, and terms, as well as SOX control compliance within the Grains category.

Your Impact:

As Grains Coordinator Procurement your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Development & Execution of supply strategies for grains (wheat, corn, cornmeal, and oats). Consolidate volumen/spend/suppliers in order to leverage negotiations. Improve Payment Terms.
  • Understand key cost drivers, industry trends and best practices (today and in the future) to shape the sourcing strategies
  • Lead bidding processes according the needs of the business, creating competitive tension and ensuring the most competitive price.
  • Accountable for delivering AOP productivity target, working closely with R&D. Propose and execute productivity plans and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong supplier relationship by strengthening communication.
  • Visibility cost agenda with leadership Finance & FP&A.
  • Deploy BCP Agenda for managed categories.
  • Ensure P2P Process.
  • Spend Mapping /Cost Analysis & Trends
  • Implementation of Pep+ action to fulfill Positive Agriculture glidepaths
  • Guarantee contractual relationship with suppliers of Raw Material, Finished goods and services, for business continuity
  • Ensure compliance with the Purchasing Policy and our Code of Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Comply with the PepsiCo Purchasing Policy and the Code of Conduct.
  • Point person for implementation of strategic projects as Larry from a Procurement perspective.

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?

Education
Bachelor Degree in Business Engineering, Administration, Economics.


Experience

  • Excellent Functional knowledge (+4 years in category management /procurement roles)
  • Strategic and Procurement knowledge, preferable experience within a global/regional environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, and/or AribaSrourcing/Contracts (desirable)
  • Ability to build relationships and influence across a matrix organization
  • Strong grasp of general business economics & key cost & quality drivers
  • Strong analytical & financial skills
  • Political & commercial savvy
  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple messages for Executive level communication
  • Ability to work in Xfunctional team and influence them without direct reporting lines
