Position Summary:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Customs and Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities:

Optimally manage of the Logistics process.

Optimize transportation:

Manage the 4 PL (Control Tower), for greater use of resources and visibility of shipments.
Supervise the activities of the Logistics team, In Bound and Out Bound.
Implementation of strategies and improvement actions, for the optimization of resources.
Responsibility for the satisfaction of the demand (internal and external) in the best conditions of service, cost
and quality.
Look for new logistics routes that meet the needs of the company.
Carry out negotiations with Customs Agents, Carriers, Carriers, for the optimization of the logistic processes
that allow to obtain efficiency and efficiency in the operations.
Control of the Premium freight.
Control of the standard freight.

Basic Qualifications:

Excellence
5 years of experience in Logistics or customs department
Knowledge in the law and regulations in International Commerce, Incoterms, and transportation modes.
Deal with customs brokers, carriers (local and international), forwarders.
Communications Skills (oral and written)
Logistics routes, parcels, heavy weight, ocean and ground.
Analysis capacity,
Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of labor.
Knowledge the Maquila program, CTPAT and OEA
Knowledge the mode of shipments LCL, FCL, LTL, FTL
Cost reductions and savings
Control of the Premium Freight
English 95% (reading, writing, oral, capable to establish a fluid conversation and presentation, technician
languages in logistics terminology)
Monthly reports, follow up the KPI of the plant.
Establish strategies to accomplish the company targets.
