We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner


Role Value Proposition:


This role is a critical enabler of strategy, expected to create and implement comprehensive, forward-thinking talent plans that mobilize the business agenda while mitigating talent risk.

This is done through developing business-specific talent strategies that align with a market(s) goals and direction, taking responsibility for critical talent activities such as succession planning and pipelining and providing strategic consulting and guidance to senior leadership teams.

Whilst aligned to specific market(s) or region, the Senior HRBP must think holistically and work across the organization to align the tools, resources, and people needed to deliver the talent strategy.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Collaborate as part of local or regional leadership teams, taking accountability for local implementation of relevant HR strategies and solutions
  • Provide credible strategic advice to the leaders they support with targeted and businessoriented solutions
  • Leverage data and business insights and deep talent expertise to create impactful talent strategies that boost workforce and business performance
  • Lead transformation initiatives by developing strategic organizational design, change acceleration, communication and workforce development plans, in alignment with business/function/enterprise strategic goals
  • Take responsibility for critical talent risk mitigation activities such as succession planning and talent reviews
  • Build relationships and partnerships across teams and organizational boundaries to mobilize talent initiatives
  • Leverage HR COEs to deliver full suite of HR capabilities and resources that support the achievement of business and enterprise goals
  • Integrate DEI and employee culture strategies into solutions tailored to the business and market
  • Work with Total Rewards to align compensation with workforce plans
  • Coach leaders on forwardthinking leadership practices and provide strategic advice on talent decisions and resourcing
  • Ensure policies, procedures and practices are designed and implemented consistently and efficiently across the organization, fully compliant with all aspects of employment law and regulations
  • Take accountability for local labor strategy and negotiations where needed
  • Participate and collaborate on crossfunctional initiatives
  • Lead and coach team of HR Partners and locally based COEs (direct or indirect reports)

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience developing and implementing businessoriented talent strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of all disciplines in HR and experience collaborating across HR to solve business problems
  • Excellent skills and knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with compensation programs
  • Experience leading change or transformation efforts in complex environments
  • Experience developing / coaching leaders
  • Strong people leader skills and experience
  • Determined to influence the growth and success of MetLife
  • Exhibits necessary gravitas to influence in senior leader meetings
  • Adaptable and agile; an agent of change
