Release & Change Analyst

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

How you will make your mark

  • Acting as single point of contact to lead the Release & Change management which includes parallel S4 landscapes
  • Partnering with IT, Compliance group, service providers, to enable controlled release schedules for all production code deployments in the organization
  • Ensuring all code deployments adhere to the compliance standards, documentation, and meets audit needs
  • Defining the strategy, document and standardize approach to transform the S4 operations at organizational level
  • Ensuring the HPE business process structure is defined, documented, maintained and leveraged across the organization
  • Partnering with Project, Operations, System Integrators and business teams to align on the scope, publish release schedule
  • Proactively searching for symptoms and patterns and providing recommendations or solutions
  • Working with different technical teams, consolidate the information, and report findings and escalations to the leadership
  • Validating release package and ensures the successful deployment of code in various environments while maintaining quality
  • Ability to publish executive reporting, working with HPE leaders, and this role will work to ensure HPE and vendors are meeting SLAs
  • Establishing and maintains relationships with Applications leaders and BRM's within their area of responsibilities
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders and System Integrators

About you:


  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with 2+ years in SAP environment
  • Release and Change management process, and ServiceNow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; ability to communicate with individuals of all levels (technical and nontechnical) and ability to break the organization silos.
  • This role will require weekend and after hours availability
  • Ability to work with large extended teams distributed globally.
  • Around 6 or more years of experience in IT that includes development, release deployment, testing tools and endtoend multiple full release cycles.
  • SAP S4, Hybris, UX focused enterprise portals experience preferred
  • General Project Management. Customer/ Vendor Management. Business Analysis.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
