We have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team in our Ramos Arizpe, Coah. location.
Position Summary:
Mechanical Designer is responsible for produce assemblies, design concepts, and prepare drawings that are assigned by the Design Manager
In this role you will succeed by:
Provide support to the sales department for the elaboration of quotes.
Make sure to comply with the mechanical design process in a timely manner with the specifications and requirements of the Client (according to the purchase order and/or Fives quote).
Use existing designs and standards (Fives database).
Ensure that all the mechanical designs of all the projects can perform their function for which it was designed through simulations of efforts, movements and complying with the standards of Fives and the Client, before engineering approval with the Client and purchase of components.
Assist the design manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the department.
Meet the requirements of all budgets and timings of mechanical design engineering.
Develop cost effective and standardized designs.
Provide internal service support during the construction and installation stages as required.
Gather information pertaining to equipment operation, and ensure validation and closure specifications have been completed, satisfied, and documented.
Keep all the project information organized in the corresponding folders on the server, modifications made in the field, and send all the files to the engineers involved for review.
Ensure that the documentation that will be delivered to the Client is based on their standards.
Those activities determined and considered by your immediate boss and those documented within the Quality and Environmental System, as well as those aimed at guaranteeing your safety and that of the personnel under your charge during the tasks inherent to your duties

Education and Experiences:

Education & Experience:
6+ years similar position in the automotive industry.
6+ years in equipment/systems, hardware drawings and hardware components.
Bachelor's degree as Mechanical Engineer with a specialty in design and manufacturing preferably.
Knowledge of STANDARDS.
Advanced Solidworks.
Technical and business English.
Knowledge of conventional tools.
Preparation of mechanical plans.
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Problem solving/decision making.
Optional requirements:
Master's degree in engineering or related preferably.
