POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Manager plans, direct and coordinate Human Resource management activities of an organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory complianceRESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, labor relations, employee relations, safety, and recreation programs. 2.Direct the recruitment, interviews, and selections of applicants for required openings. 3.Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment and recommend needed changes. 4.Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. 5.Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
6.Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
7.Responsible for policies and Human Resources processes development, such as performance management and improvement systems.8.Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.
9.Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination. 10.Negotiate bargaining agreements and help interpret labor contracts. 11.Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs. 12.Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations. 13.Study legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends. 14.Develop and/or administer special projects in areas such as pay equity, savings bond programs, day-care, and employee awards. 15.Contract with vendors to provide employee services, such as food service, transportation, or relocation service. QUALIFICATIONSMS office proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)Labor Law knowledgeWorks with integrity and ethicallyEffective public relations and have sound public speaking skills.
