Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.

Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and supplier's reputation and history.

Negotiate pricing and terms of purchase with suppliers.

Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, suppliers, and inventory management.

Work closely with the production department to ensure timely availability of materials.

Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to minimize the cost of products and services.

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices in the company's database.

Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet the company's standards.

Evaluate and manage risks associated with the procurement process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing/planning roles, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.

Demonstrated ability in negotiation and networking.

Proficient knowledge of ERP systems and related software.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Proactive with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.

$50, $70,000.00 per month
