PAYROLL ANALYST

Mexico Corporate offices, Juarez, Chihuahua


As a member of the finance shared services center and the payroll department, the accountant in payroll will keep accounting records and financial analysis for the Cut & Sew divisional groups, managing U.S.

electronic payroll accounting, as well as budget preparing for the business groups assigned, paving the path to a great professional growth.


The Role:

Your work will include, but is not limited to:

  • Analyze customer payment vs billing discrepancies including retroactive adjustments
  • Divisional entities budget preparation
  • Weekly payroll records maintenance
  • Financial variations monitoring and analysis
  • Work with appropriate teams to process and reconcile payroll for plant personnel
  • Process monthend journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Assist with tracking and implementation of capital assets
  • Respond to external and internal audits by ensuring that all transactions and controls conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

To be successful in this role you need:

  • Bachelors' degree in accounting


  • Bilingual English

  • Spanish, both verbal and written
  • Analytical, communications and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Bonus if you bring:


  • Professional experience in accounting (manufacturing environment highly desirable)
  • Experience with accounting software such as QAD, SAP, BPCS, Black Line or others
  • SOX requirements and controls
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
