ZF is looking for a Commodity Buyer for our location in Monterrey._
Your tasks as Commodity buyer:_
Manage sourcing process from acquisition through supplier award, including supplier RFQ, negotiation, sourcing preparation and presentation to the Decision Board.
Consider Part Family Strategy, supplier compliance to business fundamentals, key purchasing KPI, project timing and BU targets when making sourcing decisions.
Ensure that all suppliers under its responsibility (supplier champion) meet their business plan target whether through year over year commercial savings or VAVE/Technical improvements.
Maintain accurate and uptodate reporting in the saving excellence tools
Ensure supplier escalation to support quality and delivery targets.

Your profile:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or technical field
At least 3 years in automotive industry preferably in the purchasing; or project management or engineering.
Ability to read prints with basic understanding of key characteristics / specifications.
Basic understanding of various manufacturing processes.
Basic knowledge of braking hardware and terminology eventually.
