PAM Transport was founded in Tontitown, Arkansas, in 1980 by Paul Allen Maestri as a 5-truck operation.

About This Opportunity

Responsibilities

Configure internal systems and ensure their optimal performance
Diagnose and resolve technical issues that affect the system operations
Supervise and perform the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of hardware and software
Monitor the system performance, security, and backup procedures
Manage the user accounts, permissions, and access rights
Provide technical support and guidance to staff and clients
Document the system configuration, policies, and procedures
Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions
Train and mentor junior system administrators
Provision enduser computing devices

Requirements:

Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience as a system administrator or similar role
Proficient in Windows or IBM operating systems
Familiar with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, etc.
Experience with server administration tools such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, etc.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Experience with security tools and best practices such as firewall, antivirus, encryption, etc.
Certification in system administration or related field is a plus
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Must have an active VISA for training in USA

Salary:
$40, $45,000.00 per month
