Help Desk Reports To:

Network Engineer Department:

Tijuana Plant Summary of Position: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.

Response to
ITticket system, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements a solution.

  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem. Walk customers through the problemsolving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved. redirect problems to correct resource
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage. Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur
  • This position requires to work collaboratively with all Business functions while working under moderate supervision. The position requires a professional image/demeanor as well as an extremely responsible working attitude with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Position Requirements

  • Education, Knowledge, Years of Experience, etc:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred Knowledge of Office 365, windows 10 and Mac IOS software a must.
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
  • Understanding of Client / Server architecture, Cloud platforms and storage concepts. Minimum three years of experience performing Help Desk administration duties in a critical production environment, preferably healthcare
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills (this role will require you to interact with business stakeholders, QA, and external auditors).
  • Preference given to demonstrable competencies in Lean Manufacturing (e.g. Toyota Production System). Including leading Kaizens/Continuous Improvement techniques, Standard Work, Single Piece Flow, Kan Ban, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, and Poka Yoke
