We are currently looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer or SDET with Java. You will be part of the Developer Team within one of our company clients. You will be primarily responsible for testing the main production software used within. Development at this company goes quickly, with new software versions coming out each day. Additional tasks include the writing of automated test cases of new versions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
These include the following. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management in the context of the role.

Extend automated the existing automated test set with integration and regression test sets. (70%)
Perform User Acceptance Testing of new software versions, both by executing automated test scripts and by manually testing different use cases. (10%)
Learn core business processes, follow best software testing practices. (10%)
Monitor production releases helping the developer team to identify and fix the incoming issues. (10%)

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

3+ years of experience in software development/testing.
Core competency in computer science: general programming, logic, problemsolving, data structures, algorithms, etc.
Experience working with microservices, distributed systems and RESTful APIs, knowledge about mock frameworks
Experience with objectoriented programming languages such as Java or Groovy

Knowledge about ISTQB

Foundation level
Team player capable of working independently.
Ability and willingness to learn core business processes
Intermediate communication skills (English)
