Eaton's AER ITD division is currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist.


What you'll do:

Job Summary
This position is responsible for aligning business objectives. The position serves as a consultant to managers and supervisors on human resource-related issues. Acts as an employee champion and change agent seeking to develop integrated solutions for the business. This position also leads talent strategy for the workforce, works on implementing human resources policies and procedures. Ensures an effective HR operation.

Job Responsibilities
"Administers the grievance and disciplinary process, interprets contract language and advises on day-to-day matters related to wages, benefits and working conditions to maintain a consistent, fair and equitable treatment of employees and competitive stature in the market place.
Implement and administer policies and procedures consistent with Corporate and Plant guidelines to ensure consistent and fair administration.
Coordinates and follows up on activities related to recruiting, selection and hiring process according to the organization's needs.
Administers programs, projects, and/or processes related to the HR function and fully supports plant initiatives.
Manage employee benefits ensuring the compliance to organizational policies as well as to Federal, State and Local Law and regulations
Responsible for producing and interpreting different reports such as: Absenteeism, turnover, exit interview, etc. to provide management with suggestions, to evaluate departmental efficiency as well as to detect significant trends.
Responsible of employee management systems to ensure the integrity of the information.
Coordinate all the activities of the payroll area.
Coordinate activities related to personnel services as: Cafeteria and transportation achieving employee high satisfaction and engagement.

Design and implement motivational programs, social, cultural, recreational and sporting events as well as activities to support the community through plant councils.

Responsible of Labor Relations.

Be an advocate for employees in the organization ensuring fair treatment, helping to get issues raised and addressed responding to their need for information on policies, procedures, benefits, pay etc.

and identifying developmental opportunities.
Strengthens employee retention and engagement through establishing the standard on-boarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions.
Promotes the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.

Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

Assist in the areas of salary and compensation planning and administration.
Assists in the preparation of corporate and/or government required reports relating to employment date and employment practices.

Assist in corporate or plant sponsored HR and other special projects and initiative, including but not limited to OCA, Talent Hub, and EBS.


Qualifications:

Education level required
College degree in administration, business, psychology or similar.

Years and area of experience required
3-5 years experience


Skills:

Technical knowledge
"5 or more years of experience in Human Resources Administration.
Bilingual English/ Spanish.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Computer Skills MS Office, Tress.
Teamwork oriented.
Detail and results oriented.
Broad knowledge in labor law.
Strong Labor Relations knowledge."
