Senior Creative Fragrances Manager

    Senior Creative Fragrances Manager, your future position?
  • As part of our Fragrance & Beauty business, you will lead complex crossregional projects, defining the strategy of the fragrance development process for the Home and Fabric care categories. As an olfactory development expert, understanding the existing fragrance portfolio will be essential, in addition to analyzing current olfactory styles, forecasting future trends and assessing consumer preferences. You will report into the Fabric & Home Care Category Director Latam.
  • If your olfactory senses are finely attuned, if you can understand the many layers of a fragrance and creatively interpret your findings to hone the development process, if you live for the challenge of capturing the next new scent to inspire a generation, then this could well be the perfect opportunity for you to lead the creation of some of the world's most prestigious perfumes.
  • You will work onsite four days a week in our corporate office located in Polanco, Mexico City, and one day from home.
  • Your main responsibilities will be:

Fragrance Development & Research

  • Manage crossregional/ cross category projects.
  • Manage all brief activity and guide creation and development process for a given category.
  • Ensure correct Perfumery allocation to briefs & adequate other resources (CMI, marketing, lab).
  • Define, and prioritize, in close collaboration with CMI manager, developmental and briefrelated consumer market research.
  • Build category knowledge & share evaluation expertise and market knowledge with the entire category team
  • Mentor junior evaluation team members.

Business Planning

  • Develop regional/global development strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify/interpret our commercial goals.
  • Demonstrate and maintain track records of new wins in Main/Global Projects.

Activation and Gallery

  • Guide the building and curating of the best fragrance collection, responding to gap analysis, market needs, market trends and incorporating
  • Givaudan technologies
  • Connect with the other region to accelerate the usage of the best new creations from anywhere in the world
  • Lead and improve the process for fast and efficient selection of fragrances for activation projects from oil or blind

You

  • Your professional profile includes:
  • University degree in a related field.
  • At least 12 years' experience in the role within the Fragrance industry; with specific experience in Fabric & Home Care categories

This includes experience in:

  • Fragrance creation.
  • Olfactory skills.
  • Fragrance products, general market dynamics and olfactory trends.
  • Client strategy, plans, priorities, and launching processes for main customers.
  • Assigned brands and product categories.
  • Articulate olfactive strategy internally & externally.
  • Consumers within Home & Fabric Care categories.
  • Lead large, international complex development projects.
  • Strategize and articulate olfactive vision.
  • The best assessment techniques.
  • Fluency in English.
