Summary:


Logistics/Shipping agents support operations in all logistics and customer service functions related to product deliveries, planning, scheduling, ordering, transportation, tracking, and reporting.


  • The ability to enter orders accurately in the system is a must.
  • The Logistics/Shipping Agent will also be responsible for keeping track of the inventory and ensuring that we have the products the customers need in stock.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of claim process and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements
  • Monitor supply chain operations
  • Manage relationships with carriers and other vendors.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.
  • Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
  • Communication with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc., to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Schedule shipments, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies
  • Prepare documents for customs clearance
  • Implement costsaving measures

Skills and qualifications:


  • Quick critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the shipments.
  • Working knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in the supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field
  • Experience in the logistics field as a shipping agent or similar role

Salary:
$20, $25,000.00 per month


Educación:

  • Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)

Experiência:

  • In the logistics field as a shipping agent or similar role: 2 años (Obligatorio)

Idioma:

  • Ingles Avanzado (Obligatorio)

Licencia/Certificación:

  • Bachelor's degree in the supply chain and logistics, (Obligatorio)
