We are looking for you

We are currently looking for a Category Buyer - Indirect Purchasing (f/m/x) within the Corporate Purchasing organization. This position will be based in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila (Mexico) and report to Global Purchasing Category Manager.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be part of our global international Indirect Purchasing organization and play a key role in improving our productivity and overall business.

Specific objectives of the role are:

In co-operation with stakeholders, map future needs and leverage KA spend to maximize benefit for KA.
Develop and propose Category Strategy for assigned (sub)category and region
Close cooperation with Global Category Team.
Establish a base of preferred suppliers, and secure lowest TCO.
Supplier relationship management
Capture tracking saving
Lead purchasing activities cross Plants, Business Units and identify potential synergies
Driving sourcing decisions
Contract management
Support purchasing process continuous improvement
IT purchasing tool Jaggear roll out

Requirements:

Strong communication and project management skills in combination with a technical understanding.
A proactive, goaloriented and crossfunctional approach.
Strong analytical and technical understanding.
Resultdriven, flexible to travel and can set priorities.
High degree of personal integrity and confidence.
Experienced in stakeholder management and motivated to lead global as well as regional negotiations with our suppliers and stakeholders.
Being a selfgoing and selfmotivated person.
Flexible and comfortable in a rapidly changing and demanding matrix organization.
Being fluent in the English and Spanish language. Other languages are plus.
