Security Risk Management Advisor

The Dell Security & Resiliency organization manages security and resiliency risk across all aspects of Dell's business.

We are currently looking to grow our team to help meet the security needs of the world's largest technology company.

Join us as a Security Risk Management Advisor within the Governance, Risk and Compliance team in Mexico.

What you'll achieve

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated risk professional to help build and mature a best-in-class Risk Management program.

The team's objective is to ensure risk is assessed, identified, quantified and reported consistently and accurately across the Security and Resiliency Organization.

This individual will support risk framework implementation and governance, risk assessment facilitation and training, control assessment, consult on risk scenarios, and help improve risk documentation and training content.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

You will:

Support risk quantification; help create playbooks on how quantification is applied and used consistently. Great opportunity to grow risk modeling skills and FAIR knowledge
Create and maintain metrics. Identify data inputs, refine calculations and presentation, and support metric reporting. Monitor metrics over time to identify trends
Support SRO strategic planning through identification of risk drivers and preparing content to help drive business decisions
Conduct business analysis, identify risks, controls, and process improvement opportunities
Support risk management processes in key Governance, Risk and Compliance technology solutions. Work with system data to ensure integrity of information

Essential Requirements

35 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit and / or Compliance.
Previous experience working in data analysis; understanding of various technology tools and systems, data flows and ability to define technology requirements.
Thorough and professional documentation skills with superior attention to detail. Ability to explain risk and security principles in easily understandable terms, both written and verbally
Proactive approach to work and ability to operate successfully in a program that is still defining process deliverables. As the Risk team continues to evolve, scale and mature, activities, methods and priorities will change and we need team members that are flexible, adaptable and able to drive tasks and projects that may not be fully structured

Desirable Requirements

Experience in security strongly preferred
Familiarity with risk quantification methods and FAIR
Experience in Archer or Service Now preferred.
