Job Title

Senior Analyst, Sales

Acceptance Development is the area within Market Development, responsible for expansion of new merchant locations with technical & educational capabilities to receive electronic payments, also for validating quality of acquiring business and finally for building the network to expand new payment technologies.

The key drivers for Acceptance Development are:
Number of Acceptance Locations (Point os Sale, ATMs & Manual Cash Disbursement Locations), Acquirer Revenue & Compliance with Mastercard mandatory programs

Acceptance Dev. Experienced Professional contributes to the Acceptance Development Role by driving specific initiatives with different players in the Acceptance Network, such as Acquirer, Payment Facilitators, Gateways, Regulators and other entities involved in the process from Merchant accepting the electronic payments until the transaction is fully processed in the Acquirer network.
The main responsibilities for the Acceptance Experienced Professional are: contributing materially to guidance & procedures as well as implementation of solutions to problems that obstacle the strategy.

Role:

Drive creating and closure of earlystage business opportunities primary throughout partnering with key players in the Acquiring chain including: Acquirers, Government, Service Providers and other participants
Identifies and communicates the Acceptance industry trends as well as forecasting competitive environment.
Support Merchant Development units in Mexico & Central America by driving expansion of acceptance with merchants as well as, develop financial modeling and building business cases to enhance the Acquirer capabilities in the Brick and Mortar models
Explores relationship with new Financial Services entities that support the expansion to new Consumption sectors
Identifies moderately difficult problems and helps participating in conversations with key decision makers about MasterCard standards or product opportunities.

Essential knowledge:

Ability to multitask ad work in multiple project simultaneously
Experienced building Executing reporting & project plans
Business acumen on Regulatory environment for Financial Services Industry in six markets of Central America
New business sales experience with demonstrated success at managing accounts through a structures prospecting process
Ken analytical and proven problem solving skills
