What to Expect

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities
Serve as single point of contact regarding tesla processes for the continentwide construction effort making programmatic decisions related to industry leading project closeout and portfolio level documentation assurance.
Facilitate and drive communication and construction related bestpractice sharing across various north American regions, each with unique constraints and regional teams of engineers, and construction managers
Work closely with Tesla product engineering and the Tesla site design department to ensure a designforconstructability mentality.
Participate in and/or lead creation and maintenance of a continentwide source of truth for all deployment related processes, products, and practices
Educate contractors on latest updates to Tesla Design Manuals, Installation documentation, Standard Details & processes.
Keep a running dashboard of performance on quality, process adoption, documentation, and closeout. Improve Mexican project quality grade from O&M, QoQ.
Track, prioritize, and resolve top issues by quantifications of frequency and severity and set target dates
Create and implement a formal audit strategy (combination of dashboarding, photo/reviews, and targeted site visits)

What You'll Bring

Requirements
7 years experience in construction, program management, or infrastructure rollouts
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Civil Engineering, business, other analytical or operational focus, or equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not required
Experience in product/component design and release is desirable but not required
Superb organizational skills with strong multitasking abilities
Impeccable communication skills, both writing and speaking ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of individuals
Experience and proven ability to operate and thrive within matrix management structures
Highly structured individual with affinity for productivity and project management support tools
25% travel based on business needs
Highly energetic personality with an ability to function autonomously in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
