Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Director, Materials the Buyer Direct role involvesresponsibilities of this position include purchase order placement of direct material, follow-up with suppliers, executing messages (pull in, push out, cancel), and taking care of on-time payment to suppliers and material receipt in the system.

What a typical day looks like:

Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
Determines methods of procurement such as a direct purchase.
Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output.
Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories.
Manages supplier to price, delivery, and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.
Approves invoices for payment.
Expedites delivery of goods to users.
Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management.
May gather quotations, examine bids, negotiate contracts, and make awards.
May plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.
Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

Bachelor's degree in engineering & International Business or related field
Experience Jr or Mid in a similar role.
English advance (spoken and written).
Use of the following tools may be required:

Office Skills:
telephones, word processing, data entry, ten-key, spreadsheet (PC), ERP software.

Follow up with the supplier.
Availability to travel
