We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as
"Global Capital Lead for Wire Harness & Electronics", based in
Corporate Offices -Juarez, Chih., MX. (Headquarters).


As a member of the Purchasing team, the Global Commodity Manager will be Responsible for cost effective procurement of capital and tooling equipment for the Trim business.

This can include anything from assembly lines to robots.

This role serves as the global commodity manager for the E-Systems Capex goods and services and will require the ability to create global strategic sourcing plans for the commodity.


YOUR TASKS WILL BE

  • Strategically develop and implement commodity strategies covering the Capex area to deliver maximum value, leverage, and standardization.
  • Establishing and maintaining measurable performance metrics for all levels of procurement activities to include but not limited to supplier performance, supplier quality, internal order placement performance, buyer activity levels.
  • Report to management the measurable status of progress and corrective actions as it pertains to supplier performance.
  • Ensure performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked and reported on as required for supply base management and improvement.
  • Negotiate and execute purchase orders or vendor contracts as needed to support the critical business needs.
  • Manages all activities that develop relationships with suppliers and internal customers in the Capex function.
  • Develops an overall vendor base in the Capex function which creates and sustains a competitive advantage, utilizing global market exploitation, leveraging spend, and leveraging of technologies.
  • Manages savings initiatives in line with profit plan and overall business objectives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
  • Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.
  • 57 years progressive experience in Purchasing & Sourcing with extensive experience in the Capex commodity.
  • Purchasing Process, Negotiations, Strategy Development.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
