We seek a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team.


Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with customers to understand their requirements/use cases and participate in technical discussions.
  • Advisor role in auditing and standards compliance.
  • Perform risk assessments on feature and component level systems.
  • Responsible for vulnerability research and document vulnerabilities.
  • Create and maintain polices and processes for enterprise and project level groups.
  • Responsible for requirements, design and development of new approaches and countermeasures for emerging threats to systems.
  • Participate and lead internal Cyber Security research projects.
  • Responsible for training other security engineers on concepts of Cyber Security, participate in delivering trainings to both internal and external customers.
  • Keep up with industry trends on Cyber Security, standards, participate in writing blogs and attending conferences.
  • Support unit/component/module/integration/system level testing for systems.
  • Ensure process compliance and configuration management activities.
  • Work with Senior Software Engineers to develop features that have a high degree of hardware/software interaction and with a focus on Cyber Security.
  • Develop project work according to guidance and processes defined to meet applicable regulatory/statutory/legislative standards.
  • Participate in code and design reviews.
  • Follow common problemsolving techniques, such as 5 why's, fishbone, etc.

Requirements:


  • B.S./M.S. in Cybersecurity or related, 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Communication protocols such as Ethernet/TCP/IP and similar others.
  • Hands on experience with risk management analysis using frameworks like OCTAVE, threat modeling.
  • Experience with CS standards such as ISO/IEC 27000 series standards.
  • Experience in a threat modeling process like HEAVENS or STRIDE.
  • Experience with Public Key Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of different authentication techniques.
  • Knowledge of different attack vectors for connected systems.
  • Knowledge of mitigation techniques and controls.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • CISSP certification is a plus.
