  • Responsible for performing Finite Element Analysis for validation of product designs using state of the art computerbased simulation systems, processes, methods and standards in PS.
  • Definition of simulation tasks based on discussion with the project team or specification of the product.
  • Coordination of the simulation tasks (i.e. time and resources planning).
  • Documenting and reporting project (i.e. process, simulation results and analysis) to the project team, internal and/or external customer.
  • Promote safety health and environment protection according to IS0 14001/OHSAS 18001.

Specific Duties

  • Create and evaluate finite element models of different product designs used by the different customers.
  • Optimize and confirm design feasibility using stressstrength methods.
  • Assess design variants based on numeric design analysis and hand calculation.
  • Evaluate specifications to accomplish with customer requirements.
  • Offer design improvement recommendations to the product development team.
  • Keep updated about news tools and technologies for simulations processes.
