Purchase materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.
Qualify vendors, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
Manage complex thirdparty suppliers and manufacturing with responsibilities of buying, planning, and logistics.
Track purchases, monitor vendor quality, and maintain a current database of vendor information.
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
Provide quotes as requested.
Provide feedback to internal customers and update reports.

Experiência y requisitos

Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
Commercially and financially aware.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactively contributes to the team.
Resilient, selfmotivated, and able to work well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, 5 years of buying experience
Excellent knowledge of planning and quality control principles
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, SAP preferred
Working knowledge of logistics
Analytical, and numerically astute with strong proven problemsolving abilities
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication abilities.
