Purpose of Role:

As a Digital Asset Management Specialist, you will play a key rol in our digital services team, ensuring to obtain and analyze the correct data to provide relevant insights on Weir products for our internal colleagues to make corrective actions.

As the specialist in asset management you will need to integrate the correspondent experts along Weir Minerals organization when needed, in order to help resolve anomalies or issues to avoid unwanted stoppages or/and proactively look for strategies to increase efficiency/productivity.

You will work closely with the larger digital community and regional reliability and process teams, ensuring that digital solutions is always targeting resolving the needs and desires of both the global businesses as well as end-customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the 'goto' specialist globally in digital for data analysis for reliability issues/conditions/anomaly on connected customers and provide support to our internal people.
  • Be the leader of the level 2 service operating model (2nd layer of specialist support)
  • Support Industrial iot Data Analyst (level 1 in service operating model) with the analysis of the equipment and the data to resolve customer problems.
  • Ensuring business and customer needs and desires are being conveyed back to relevant specialists, this means to integrate specialists from the region and/or technology group when needed.
  • Working with Case Management tool to properly support Data Analyst with the tasks designated
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent

Previous experience required:

  • 5+ years' experience in maintenance and reliability engineering
  • Experienced in reliability engineering, asset optimization and/or process optimization with appropriate qualifications/certifications and recent relevant experience in Vibration Analysis and/or FMEA, RCM, ECA, PMO
  • Asset Management qualifications or experience would be beneficial
  • Operational maintenance experience working for / with mining
