Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Cisco Network Administrator to join our team remotely. As a Cisco Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Cisco networking infrastructure. This role requires advanced English communication skills and offers the opportunity to work remotely from Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Cisco networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal operation.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and security threats.
Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements.
Configure and manage network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
Perform network upgrades and patch management as needed.
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Provide technical support and assistance to endusers as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cisco Network Administrator or equivalent role.
Strong understanding of Cisco networking concepts and technologies.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
CCNA Certification required.
Additional Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are a plus.
Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and remotely with mínimal supervision.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
