    Job Description

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for MRO planning, follow-up of purchase orders with the assigned suppliers, maintaining optimum level of MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials to control obsoletes and secure indirect materials availability to avoid machine downtime.
    • Avoid expedited freight costs for transportation.
    • Improvement and optimization of MAZE/HIBE/FHMI procurement planning processes.
    • Further contribution to Tool Crib DIO reduction targets and maintenance costs.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Control resources to ensure getting MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials on time with the correct quantity for SMT and Value Streams in coordination with Purchasing, Customs and Logistics Teams.
    • Analyze MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials consumption and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Direct contact with Suppliers and support areas in JuP1 as well as with the ELP warehouse.
    • Control and avoid MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials obsolescence.
    • Support SWPC Plus projects.
    • Maintain the parameter setting in SAP based on user department's needs.
    • Reduce logistics costs. Maintain direct contact with Value Streams and SMT areas to avoid shortages and down time.
    • Work to improve and maintain the MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials availability and where applicable improve the uptime in production areas.
    • Manage new material registration process in Tool Crib and coordinate the Tool Crib material import process with Customs and Logistics.
    • Define and implement improvement projects in MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials procurement planning area.
    • Identify and realize inventory reduction potentials for MAZE/HIBE/FHMI materials.
    Qualifications

    EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

    • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering or related field.
    • Bilingual: Spanish and Advanced English.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    • At least 3 years of experience in similar role in the Manufacturing Industry
    • Experience with SAP, Material Planning Systems, Reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, MS Office).
    • Leadership, organizational and communication skills necessary in order to work with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Experience in Agile methods.
    • Experience in Projects related to inventory reduction and administration.
