Your Role and Responsibilities


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our finance team as an Entry Level General Ledger Accountant with a focus on Lease Accounting.

In this role, you will assist in lease data entry, verify lease documents for accuracy, and support basic lease reconciliations.

You will work closely with the lease accounting team to ensure accurate recording of lease transactions and compliance with lease accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Assist in lease data entry into accounting systems.
Verify lease documents for accuracy and completeness.
Support basic lease reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized documentation of lease transactions for auditing purposes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely recording of lease transactions.
Participate in training and learning activities to enhance lease accounting knowledge.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
Familiarity with lease accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, IFRS 16).
Proficiency in data entry and basic accounting software.
Attention to detail for accurate recording of lease transactions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and develop lease accounting knowledge.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Familiarity with lease accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, IFRS 16) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
